CONSTRUCTION
Housing, Cover & Stencil Face: CSC Series exits are constructed of heavy gauge steel finished in white baked-on powder paint providing scratch and corrosion resistance. Optional black (-BL) finish is available, see Options for ordering details.

EXIT FACE
Letter Size: 6” letters with 3/4” stroke on translucent glass panels Directional Indicators: Full length chevron arrows sized to meet UL visibility requirements.

ILLUMINATION
LED Light Source: Exit face illumination is provided by a special high intensity indirect LED. Letter brightness and illumination uniformity exceed UL requirements. LED Lamp Life: 25 years (estimated average). Fluorescent Light Source: Normal AC and emergency illumination is provided by two 7 watt PL style lamps. Letter brightness and illumination uniformity exceed UL requirements. Fluorescent Lamp Life: 10,000 hours (estimated average). Incandescent Light Source: Normal AC and emergency illumination is provided by two candelabra base 15T6 120 volt, 15 watt lamps. Letter brightness and illumination uniformity exceed UL requirements. Incandescent Lamp Life: 2,000 hours (estimated average). Emergency Light Source: Egress illumination on all models is provided by two 6 volt, 12 watt halogen lamps.

INSTALLATION
Wall Mounting: Backplates on single face models are supplied with knockouts for attachment to wall surfaces and standard 3 1/2" and 4" electrical boxes. Ceiling Mounting: Mounting canopies are provided for attachment to standard 3 1/2" and 4" electrical boxes in ceiling or end mount applications.

POWER REQUIREMENTS
All units are supplied with 120/277VAC dual input transformer.

EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power, a solid-state transfer switch automatically activates the DC incandescent emergency lamps providing uninterrupted operation for at least 120 minutes. The battery is protected from deep discharge through the use of a low voltage disconnect circuit. Upon resumption of the normal utility power the battery is disconnected from the load and recharged through a solid-state charging circuit. Emergency exit signs feature a fully automatic charger designed to recharge the battery within 24 hours.

BATTERY
CSC Series exit signs are provided with a sealed maintenance free lead calcium battery that will provide many years of dependable service. Operating Temperature Range: 68ºF to 86ºF (20ºC to 30ºC) G2 SELF-TESTING/SELF-DIAGNOSTIC The optional G2 circuit automatically performs a 15-minute diagnostic/discharge test of the unit every 30 days. The G2 circuit checks for proper battery capacity and emergency lamp operation. Malfunction of the battery or lamp(s) detected during diagnostic cycles will be indicated by the units LED status indicator. CONFORMANCE TO CODES & STANDARDS All models are UL Listed and meet NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NEC, OSHA, state and local codes. Emergency models are UL924 Listed.

WARRANTY
Unit: (excluding lamps) 3-years full coverage against defects in materials and workmanship from date of shipment.

Battery
: 3 years full warranty plus an additional 7 years of prorata coverage.
