PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Steel RS Series combines performance and dependability into a rugged 20 gauge enclosure. Available in a wide variety of battery wattages and lamp styles to compliment any application. 18 to 150 watt (6 volt), 36 to 250 watt (12 volt) Sealed Lead Acid or NiCad batteries Fully adjustable lamp heads Battery lockout circuit Low voltage disconnect Temperature compensation and brown-out circuit Test switch and LED indicator light 120/277 VAC Rugged 20 gauge steel housing Available in white or tan powder coated finish Short circuit protected ETL listed

ILLUMINATION
Illumination is accomplished with lamp heads mounted on the top of the unit. The RS Series can accommodate up to three lamp heads. Most often specified is Exitronix round thermoplastic tungsten lamp head.

HOUSING
Constructed of 20 gauge (18-100w) or 18 gauge (125-250w) steel with a white corrosion-resistant, epoxy powder coat finish. Tan epoxy powder coat finish is optional. Easily mounted with key hole slots or shelf mounting. Universal J-box mounting on 18 watt to 50 watt cabinets.

ELECTRONICS
120/277 VAC dual voltage input with surge-protected, solid- state circuitry provides for a reliable charging system. Charging system is complete with low voltage disconnect, AC lockout, brown-out protection, AC indicator lamp and test switch.

BATTERY
Maintenance-free, sealed lead calcium battery has an estimated service life of 10 years, and an operating temperature range of 65°F (19°C) to 85°F (30°C). Maintenance- free, sealed nickel cadmium battery has an estimated service life of 12 years, and an operating temperature range of 20°F (7°C) to 95°F (35°C). Batteries supply 90 minutes of emergency power.

WARRANTY
3 years full electronics warranty. One year full plus 4 year prorated lead calcium battery warranty. 5 year full plus 5 year prorated nickel cadmium battery warranty.
